Our theme at Fulham School this year is "Everyone is welcome." Throughout the year, we will be participating in several projects about the importance of acceptance, making all types of people feel welcome, and that they belong. On Tuesday, we met as a school to hear a video about world cultures and did some activities to learn about what acceptance and being welcoming looks like. Notes have been sent home, inviting families to share information about their heritage and what traditions they practice at home. We plan on displaying a world map that will show the place where our students' ancestors originated and later in the year, we hope to have many more opportunities to learn about those places and its customs.
